Description

This piece represents the grace earned after going through hardships. The wild blackberry serves as the natural symbol of this concept. It grows within twisted thorny brambles which makes harvesting them a painful process, but the reward is the rich blackberry. In some traditions, the blackberries' deep purple colour represents Jesus’ blood and the brambles, the crown of thorns. The gold elements represents the divinity of this symbolism.
